How do I choose the right size for my Frido Active Knee Cap Support?

Step 1: Mark a point 4 inches above your knee. Step 2: Wrap a measuring tape around this point to measure the circumference. Step 3: Use the measurement to find your size on our chart. Please note, if your body measurements are between two sizes then choose the higher for reduced compression or the lower size for extra compression.

How do I care for my knee support to maintain its compression and shape?

To preserve the elasticity and compression properties, hand wash your knee support in cold water with mild detergent. Gently squeeze out excess water without wringing, then lay flat to air dry away from direct heat or sunlight. Avoid using fabric softeners or bleach as these can degrade the elastic fibers.

This is my third product from Frido. Earlier bought back cushion and slippers. All were comfortable. So I didn’t think much before buying this. It’s consistent like their other products.

After my delivery, even going to doctor and supermarket was tiring for my knees. I started using this while going out. It gives enough support without feeling tight. Now I can manage small errands without feeling exhausted.

FAQs

Yes, the Frido Active Knee Cap is specifically designed for extended wear. The breathable, moisture-wicking fabric prevents heat buildup and skin irritation, while the 4-way stretch material maintains comfortable compression without restriction. Many users wear it during both active periods and throughout their workday. If you're new to knee supports, we recommend gradually increasing wear time, starting with 2-3 hours and extending as comfortable.

The Frido Active Knee Cap provides excellent support for mild to moderate knee conditions including osteoarthritis, patellofemoral pain syndrome (runner's knee), mild strains, and general knee fatigue. The targeted compression helps improve circulation and reduce minor swelling while supporting the patella (kneecap). While beneficial for many users, this is a moderate support product—those with severe conditions, post-surgical needs, or significant instability should consult their healthcare provider for appropriate medical-grade solutions.

Yes, the 4-way stretch design and secure fit make the Frido Active Knee Cap suitable for most activities, including running, hiking, weightlifting, and team sports. The silicone grip ensures it stays in place during dynamic movements without limiting your range of motion. For high-impact activities, many users report that the enhanced proprioception (joint awareness) helps improve form and stability. However, this support is designed for mild to moderate joint issues—those with serious knee injuries should consult with their healthcare provider before engaging in high-impact exercise.

The Frido Active Knee Cap distinguishes itself through its anatomically engineered 3D knitting technology that provides targeted compression precisely where needed, unlike generic tube-style supports. The premium moisture-wicking fabric blend maintains its elasticity even after repeated washing, while the integrated silicone grip prevents the constant slipping and readjustment common with budget options. Our precision sizing ensures optimal compression levels, avoiding the "one-size-fits-all" approach that often results in either overly tight or ineffective supports. Additionally, our breathable construction eliminates the uncomfortable sweating and itching typically experienced with lower-quality materials.

Absolutely! The Frido Active Knee Cap features a sleek, low-profile design that works well under most clothing. The lightweight, breathable fabric sits close to the skin without creating noticeable bulk, making it ideal for wearing under work attire, casual clothing, or athletic wear. The smooth knit construction and seamless design prevent uncomfortable bunching or visible outlines under pants or leggings. Available in neutral colors (Black, Grey) as well as Blue, you can choose a discreet option for professional settings or showcase your active lifestyle with the sportier blue version.
